Here we explain the fees and commissions associated with our services. Remember, there are no upfront costs to you. The first section below explains eBay fees. These are the actual fees you would incur if you ran the auction on your own. We do not inflate any of eBay fees. We deduct only the fees that eBay normally collects for each auction. Keep in mind that while eBay normally charges extra for more than one photo, you will not incur this cost. We host additional photos on our own web server to save you money.

The next section shows "receive funds" processing fees through PayPal. These are actual fees incurred whenever we accept payment through our PayPal account for your sold items. All auction winners will pay by this method, so these fees will always apply.

The last section shows our commission schedule. It is not complicated or expensive considering all that we will save you the hassle of doing. Our commission is not based on the winning bid price of your item. This would be over-inflating our commission. Instead, our commission is based solely on the net balance after all eBay & PayPal fees have been deducted. This is a lot more fair and equitable for you. If we charged our commission right off the top and then deducted the necessary fees, you would make less money per sale. Some of our competitors do just that, but do not!

There is a non-refundable insertion fee for listing your item on eBay.

When your listing ends, eBay will charge a Final Value Fee based on the final sale price (or "final value") of your item as follows:

PayPal Fees

While Personal accounts are free through PayPal, they cannot accept credit card payments. This can have adverse affects on your auction; especially when selling a high ticket item. KCebay.com sellers have a PayPal Business account which allows us to accept credit card payments for your sold items. However, there is a small cost incurred of 2.9% + .30 cents for every transaction processed. We have to pay this charge whether the buyer uses a credit card or PayPal. However, this cost is subtracted from the Final Selling Price before we deduct our commissions.

Commission Schedule

The commissions we deduct for selling your item on eBay are based on the Final Price of Each Item which is the selling price minus eBay and PayPal fees. Because of a number of variables such as item demand, item condition, your starting price, etc., we cannot guarantee that your item will sell at the price you want, nor can we guarantee that it will sell at all. However, we must still charge a minimum commission of $10.00 for each auction we list for you. This helps cover our time and costs of the services we provide. Please keep in mind that the Total eBay & PayPal Fees are based on money you would already be deducting if you had run the auction yourself and used a PayPal Business account to accept payment by credit card. In reality, your only true expense, above and beyond those fees, is the KCebay.com commission we receive in providing our professional listing services to you. From that perspective, it is a great deal for those that don't want to deal with all of the hassles of running your own auctions.
